Atigeo | Redesign and rebranding for Atigeo - a compassionate technology company

This rebranding and redesign took place over a blazing fast 4 week push, everything from concepting, ux and wires, design, video shoots / edits, and content generation. I led this project with fellow ACD Keith Anderson (writer) and we oversaw three different development teams, our in house front end guru Aubrey Benesa, Litfuse Design for the flash elements, and Nakea for the backend and CMS development. Not only was the timeline extraordinary, but the experience design was unique in that the content needed to be flexible and customizable per each users interest, which was set within the homepage in the form of the question "What are you looking for?". Huge props to our talented producer Wendy Fernandez and technology director JC Vieth for their remarkable leadership and talent.

"My Chateau" | Chateau Ste Michelle Winery 2009 Brand Campaign

A national print campaign extended with web and mobile applications to grow the brand within both current consumers and a new younger audience. I co-concepted this campaign with fellow ACD Keith Anderson and we shot the print campaign with Chase Jarvis studios. The interactive components are a digital cellar and a digital sommelier that are both web-enabled apps optimized for the iPhone, Blackberry 8300 series and Windows Mobile. Supporting the print media we also created an online media campaign. Has proven to be a great success thus far, gaining local TV news coverage and a huge splash in the social media space as ground-breaking work for a winery. I was responsible for concepting, art direction, strategy (help), and design for all components.

Gates Foundation | Pitch work and Campaign concepts

A collection of pitch work that accompanied our proposal, everything from outdoor around their offices to an online subsection of our site to coffee shop sleeves. All intended to garner their attention and illustrate our passion for their cause. Included are some comps of the initial campaign idea to the website comps showcasing our traveling documentary concept. Didn't get the work but was so proud of the team that I worked with on it that I have included it within this book. This was a team effort of Matt Gilmore, Adam Brock, Lisa O'Brien, Josh Naugher, Eric Gutierrez, Tom Milewski and many more.

Ri53again.com | Campaign launch for Microsoft's IME 3.0 gaming mouse

Ri53again.com is a viral marketing campaign for the relaunch of the IME 3.0 gaming mouse for Microsoft. I co-concepted and co-art directed this piece with Jeff Deroshia while at HL2. The mouse was targeted to young gamers that specialize in counterstrike team play tournaments, so we shot a video where the narrative "follows" a team on their way to a tournament. We scouted, shot and designed everything ourselves on a shoestring budget. It was awarded honoree status at the 2006 Webby Awards.

Brooks Sports PR Mailers | Illustration and Graphic Design

Getting the Brooks apparel and footwear in front of editors prior to the busy holiday season proved a challenge that only exceptional creative solutions would surmount. For two straight years myself and the internal design team at Brooks Sports along with Scott Ichikawa from Litfuse Design concepted fun interactive direct mailers that would not only get the editors to play but also educate them on what each piece of apparel or footwear could do for the consumer. Our media coverage success was measured by not only responses directly from the editors but a huge jump in placements during those years. I was responsible for leading the creative and the actual illustration of the pieces.

Velocity Comic & Spike design | Illustration

This is a consumer piece targeting runners at marathons and team events in the form of a comic book with an online ending. I art directed and illustrated a full 16 page comic book and the internal team of myself, writer Amber Hescock, designers Carlos Lantz and Teriann Vaughan co-concepted the story of 4 heroes whose super powers came from Brooks gear - and a dangerous villain weather man who could control the weather and turn their fair Velo city upside down. This piece drove tons of traffic and had one of the best print to web conversions of any piece I've worked on. The role of the villian was played by our IT guy as well as many other co-workers who were worked into the storylines as superheroes.

The spike design was targeted to younger track athletes and was my first entry into illustration for footwear.

This project was for a fundraising event at DDB Seattle for a childrens charity called 826 Seattle, a creative writing workshop started by Dave Eggers. I co-concepted this piece with Keith Anderson and co-illustrated the poster with Adam Brock, and built the site for the event myself with the oversight of our Tech Guru JC Vieth. The concept revolved around the idea of sci-fi and the imagination that it inspires. We used the CEO of DDB, Ron Elgin as our main hero for the poster.

I worked with James Dvorak for the shoe advisor. The site has changed alot since I've left years ago but the seo framework is still in place.
